Emma is an associate in the healthcare litigation team. She joined Hempsons in 2016 from a claimant background.
Emma acts on behalf of NHS trusts and GPs on a wide range of medical issues including spinal injuries, birth injuries, amputations, and fatal claims as well as cases relating to a delay in diagnosis and/or treatment. She has represented her clients at numerous successful mediations.
Emma recently spent five months on secondment at NHS Resolution assisting the team and gaining valuable insight from her client’s perspective. She is also an active member of the Leeds and District Medico-Legal Committee arranging training and lectures for local lawyers and medics.
