Chino Osuji

Chino joined Hempsons in May 2019. He assists Ann Cojeen and Lisa Davison within the northern Real Estate team. Chino graduated from Liverpool John Moores University in 2012, with a 2:1 law degree, and completed the Legal Practice Course in 2014, qualified through CILEx in 2022, as a chartered legal executive, and cross-qualified as a solicitor in 2023.

Chino provides advice to both private and public sector clients on a full spectrum of property issues, as well as assisting the wider real estate team. Chino’s experience includes advising clients on the granting/taking of commercial leases, including retail, commercial offices, industrial and healthcare premises. Chino also has a background advising corporate, finance and energy sector clients on high value and complex commercial transactions.

Chino utilises his knowledge to assist and advise on acquisitions, leasehold/estate management dealings including leases, licences to assign, licences for alteration, licences to underlet, deeds of variation, deeds of easement, overage deeds, deeds of covenant and other transactional arrangements.

I am a keen fitness enthusiast and have competed in a handful of fitness racing events. When I’m not competing, you can either find me in the gym or treating myself to a post workout treat (which is mainly the reason why I need go to the gym).
