Mariam Jafri

Mariam previously worked as a commercial paralegal whilst completing her LPC and Master’s in Law, she was involved in the tendering process with NHS clients. This experience provided her with valuable insights into the complexities of healthcare procurement and the legal intricacies involved. Her previous experience consisted of negotiating and facilitating contracts, negotiating settlements and legal drafting.

While pursuing her Bachelor of Law degree, Mariam served as a student ambassador for estranged students. This role allowed her to advocate for the rights and needs of a marginalised student community.

In 2023 Mariam embarked on a new chapter in her legal career by joining Hempsons as a trainee solicitor. Her current role within the firm involves working in healthcare litigation, where she assists in cases related to NHS Resolution.
