SRA approval sees Hempsons officially join HF

Following the announcement on 5 May 2026 that HF had agreed to acquire Hempsons, we are pleased to confirm that the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) has approved the transaction and the acquisition completed on 30 June 2026.

This marks an exciting new chapter for Hempsons. By joining the HF group of companies, we are strengthening our ability to support clients across the health, social care and charity sectors while maintaining the specialist expertise, relationships and service standards that have defined our firm for more than 130 years.

The integration brings together complementary teams, capabilities and locations, creating new opportunities for growth and innovation. For our clients, this means access to a broader range of legal and professional services, enhanced resources and investment in technology-enabled solutions that will help us deliver an even better client experience.
