Hempsons sponsors table at the Thames Valley Police Federation Bravery Awards 2023

On Thursday 27 April, Hempsons sponsored a table at the Thames Valley Police Federation Bravery Awards 2023. Lawyers in our police team represent police officer members of the Police Federation from various forces, not least Thames Valley, defending misconduct and criminal allegations; attending Post-Incident Procedures; and in related matters such as PAT appeals and Judicial Reviews.

Three of our number attended the event, which was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate some of the immensely positive things that police officers do in their communities. Congratulations to all the winners, especially PC Lucy Du Plooy (pictured above with Adam Smith) and PS Tom Thornton, who was the overall winner on the evening (and sat at our table!), and will go on to represent Thames Valley Police at the National Bravery Awards.
