Hempsons acquired by HF

We’re delighted to announce that, subject to SRA approval, Hempsons has been acquired by HF, leading legal advisers to the insurance and commercial sectors.

HF has over 1,000 employees and is based in 12 cities across England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. The purchase will enable us to strengthen our position at the forefront of the health, social care and charity law markets as part of HF’s continuing growth journey, expanding into new specialisms and sectors as well as growing existing areas of expertise.

The people-first culture at HF aligns perfectly with our commitment to quality client service, and Hempsons’ clients will benefit from HF’s scale, innovation, and technology-enabled solutions alongside a seamless transition and continued excellence.

The joint leadership team will bring the teams together via the TUPE process, overseeing the efficiencies of integrating offices, central services and systems alongside service expansion.
