What Jennifer can do for you
Jennifer joined Hempsons in January 2015 after qualifying as a solicitor in April 2014. Jennifer works in the healthcare litigation team and has experience of handling a range of clinical negligence cases including delays in diagnosis, fatal cases, birth injuries, orthopaedic claims, obstetric/gynaecological cases, dental cases and claims for psychiatric injury, including secondary victim claims.
Jennifer deals with claims against a variety of clinicians including GPs, surgeons, nurses, midwives and dentists.
In 2017 Jennifer spent 10 months on secondment working at a Trust client as their in house Trust Solicitor. During this time Jennifer gained a wide range of experience advising on regulatory matters, capacity issues and matters relating to serious untoward incident investigations. She provided representation for the Trust at numerous Inquests and dealt with statements to the press. Through this secondment Jennifer gained an invaluable insight into the working of the Trust, their procedures and processes and established a close relationship with the client which she continues to maintain.
