Scarlett Daly

Scarlett initially obtained a first-class BSc Psychology degree from the University of Exeter and upon graduation in 2021 began employment within acute inpatient psychiatric healthcare services. Inspired by this experience, combined with a long-standing interest in the legal issues impacting healthcare, Scarlett pursued the Graduate Diploma in Law with a combined Masters (MA Law Conversion), receiving a Distinction in September 2023.

Scarlett joined Hempsons as a paralegal within the healthcare litigation team in October 2023, assisting fee earners in clinical negligence cases on behalf of NHS trusts.

More about Scarlett

Away from work, I enjoy challenging myself within the gym by attending a variety of fitness classes and have particular interests in dance, music and fashion. I have enjoyed volunteering with several charities over the years, including Manchester Mind as a support group facilitator and at the Wellspring Centre for the Homeless in Stockport, Greater Manchester.

I am fortunate to continue my work within psychiatric services on a once-monthly basis, providing a great sense of reward and complement to my work in healthcare litigation. I also look forward to becoming a mental health first aider within the firm.
