What Laura can do for you

Laura joined Hempsons in January 2012, having previously worked in Manchester specialising initially in insurance litigation and then moving to concentrate on employment law in 2010. She qualified as a solicitor in 2005.

Laura has extensive litigation experience and primarily acts for respondents in defending tribunal claims, including claims for unfair dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing. Laura has advocacy experience in the tribunal and looks to provide practical and concise advice for her clients on defending claims.

Laura also advises clients on a wide range of non-contentious employment issues including managing workforce issues, reorganisations and redundancies. Laura can provide advice on the disciplinary and grievance process in practice and the management of problematic employees. She can also provide contracts of employment and settlement agreements.
