Charlotte joined Hempsons for her training contract in September 2021 and qualified as a solicitor in the Healthcare Advisory Team in September 2023.

Charlotte has experience with complex inquests and Court of Protection cases, concerning applications relating to serious medical treatments. During the course of her training contract, she was seconded to the inquest teams of two different NHS trusts (a children’s trust and a mental health trust).

Charlotte has a particular interest for medical law and ethics, having been the research assistant of a fertility lawyer for a year at the O’Neill Institute in Washington DC during her Global Health Law LLM at Georgetown University.
