Client Details: The Zoological Society of London formed London Zoo in 1826 and were granted a royal charter in 1829, becoming the world’s first scientific zoo.  London Zoo engages in living conservation hosting over 650 species of animal, over 100 of which are threatened species.

Work Undertaken: We recently advised ZSL on trade mark infringement and passing off matters in a dispute with another zoo based in the south of England which was trading on the back of ZSL’s reputation for running London Zoo by copying its branding and trademarks, guiding the client through the contentious process and helping them negotiate a pragmatic solution.
