We regularly advise both small and leading national charities, membership bodies and NHS Charitable Funds in connection with a wide range of legacy related issues. Recent examples include advice given to a national charity in connection with a complex Deed of Indemnity and Release scheme and advice to a university in connection with a cy-pres scheme required in relation to a bequest of money for an out-of-date research project.

We also receive regular requests for advice in connection with Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 and other such claims, inheritance tax issues, the partitioning of trust funds and have administered both estates and trusts on behalf of charities.
