“Laura is always very professional, helpful and efficient.” (Justine Heaton, Human Resources Business Partner, Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust)

“We have recently reviewed the Trust’s Dignity at Work and Whistle Blowing policies with the assistance of the Hempsons Employment Team in Manchester. Paul Spencer and Laura Newcombe provided advice to enable us to implement changes to reflect both recent developments in the law and the changing needs of the trust. The team understands the way in which our trust works, including the unique environment as an emergency service that we operate in, which is invaluable to us.” (Vickie Camfield, Strategic HR Manager, North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust)

“Laura Newcombe defended a disability discrimination claim which included a significant number of allegations of harassment.  Laura was able to pick through the complex details of the case which ended in a five day hearing at the Employment Tribunal.  All claims were dismissed which was a very welcome result for both the trust and for the witnesses involved in the case.” (Natalie O’Mara, Divisional HR Manager, Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust)
