Helen advises on a wide range of employment law issues and has experience of successfully defending high value Employment Tribunal claims for discrimination and unfair dismissal as well as resolving disputes through mediation and negotiation.
Helen was promoted to associate in July 2013 and can provide legal advice on all aspects of the employment relationship including recruitment and restructuring, drafting contracts, carrying out grievance and disciplinary investigations, reviewing policies and procedures and helping you manage your staff sickness absence rates.
Helen regularly presents seminars on employment law updates and training workshops and can tailor a workshop to your organisation’s requirements. She is able to rely on her first hand experience of NHS HR issues, having worked on secondment providing employment legal advice and support to the HR team at an NHS Foundation Trust, which has over 2,500 employees and was undergoing a TUPE transfer.
