What Angela can do for you

Angela specialises in healthcare law and in particular regulatory (GMC/MPTS) investigations and criminal investigations relating to clinical practice.

Angela represents doctors, dentists and nurses following instructions from medical defence organisations and also nurses in criminal investigations, following instructions from NHS trusts, where there is potential conflict of interest between the members of staff.

Angela has extensive experience in providing advocacy at IOT hearings, MPT review hearings and also in the Magistrates Court.

Angela attends interviews under caution in relation to sexual assault allegations and gross negligence manslaughter allegations, when clients are invited to attend the interview on a voluntary basis and also following arrest.

Angela also provides assistance to clients from an initial complaint to the GMC through to MPT hearings and MHPS investigations. Most of the cases have the various investigations ongoing until conclusion, although the criminal investigations take precedence.

Angela has previous experience in nursing/midwifery, specialising in intensive care and general practice management including fundholding.
